apoligies sum, i did not realise you couldnt choose who was kicked, but it is not fair someone is kicked to let a donor on. i had been on an hour and was playing and got kicked. it should be the most recent people that are kicked if any at all

[Deathrun Feedback] Minigames

Alright, So its a really great addition and really good example of what the deathrun map can offer in the future :cool: This thread is my opinion on the new Mini-game mode. Of course I never played them all myself I managed to join some of them

Minigame 1 - DM_Horror - Falling Platforms
this minigame I would say is slightly buggy I have noticed, The game itself is working fine is just the problem with the people of course.

Example:
#1 Pyro's Airblast still active during the minigame. Will cause Cheating.

#2 Since the activator and the other team is immune to taking damage. Might aswell Nerf afew weapons such as the medic's Ubersaw. it causes 150 dmg and it can kill a player in afew shots. Causing the minigame to be more of a *Don't fall and run* game. which makes it not fun.

#3 This might be a bug or not but when someone reaches the end of the map and choose Minigame. Not everyone appears in the Game-zone.
I seen this afew times when I've seen a large group of people stuck at the "Jumping water floor" trap at the hallways and not entering the zone.
Causing only a limit amount of people in the game. + Red team can just free run to the End cause nobody is controling the traps.

(Will add more when I go and test more minigames. Anyone know the list of them?)

Deathrun: Activator Not Spawned

This is sort of a bug report/punishment request rolled into one.

We've been experiencing a bug on the deathrun server for a couple of days now. For some reason, the activator is marked as alive but doesn't spawn, and has no physical presence in the game. For most maps, like office/dlux, this is fine, as the runners can just run through the entire map. For other maps, like sawmill/horrors, this can be a problem, as the activator is required to pass a certain point in the map in order for the runners to progress.

This bug normally only lasts the first round of the map, and can easily be fixed by either the runners suiciding or the activator rejoining the server. However, today we had a serious issue where an idiot by the name of "=USE M= Medical Mushroomfusion" (Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:34539355) remained on BLU team throughout the entire length of the map, exploiting this bug, for most rounds causing there to be two activators (and even if the runners beat the activator, the runners still couldn't win as he was still "alive").

Though the problem was eventually solved with a map change, this was really annoying. Is there anything that can be done to prevent it happening again?

Idea: Minecraft Deathrun

So i had this idea today.

A minecraft themed deathrun map for tf2.
Basicly, my idea was to have a small server in minecraft, have a few people join and everyone builds a segment of a deathrun map (traps can either be done with pistons or just a sign with "this trap here").

And when we have a long enough "map" together, i could easily rebuild it for team fortress 2, with minecraft textures.

Thoughts? Would anyone join in?
