Why Become A Supporter?
Thank you for your interest in donating to VIA. Donating ensures the servers survive into the future.
Your donation allows us to continue to provide a great place for you all to play CSS, TF2, and other mods/games going forward, and allows us to invest in new Hardware & Software to improve the servers further.
We face a substantial bill every quarter paying for the servers, which are on a Dedicated box. By donating even a small amount, your contribution really makes a difference. Every part of every donation goes towards the servers.
Our Way Of Thanking You For Donating!
We do not believe in 'selling out' the servers. We do not believe you or anyone else would like us to reward donors in any way that would distort the CS:S or TF2 gameplay we love. However, as a small gesture of appreciation for helping to make the server's existence possible, all of the following rewards are given to donators:-
TF2 Features
1. Reserved Slots: All donators get reserved slot access on all of our TF2 servers (ability to join the server when it's full). So you will never have to wait to join! Do this by typing in the console "connect IP", replacing IP with the ip of the server you are joining (e.g. "connect 84.234.21.161:27015").
2. Donor Particle Effects/Hat Effects: Every donor can add unusual particle effects to their hats, as well as painting them! Type "hat" in the console (or !hat in the chat) to access the menu, and refer to this thread for more info.
3. The [VIA-S] Tag before your name and Team Colored Chat are selectable in the supporter menu (accessible by typing !supporter in the chat)!
4. High Ping Kicker & Afk Manager Immunity: You will be immune from the ingame ping kicker and the afk kicker (We hope no one abuses these benifits, if it happens it will be dealt with accordingly).
5. Link your supporter rank and your forums profile! (see the link at the bottom of this page for how to do this once you have donated).
Saxton Hale-specific benefits:
- Ability to choose which Hale you want to be by selecting the corresponding class in the class menu (Soldier = Hale, Demoman = HHH, Engineer = Vagineer, Sniper = Christian Brutal Sniper)
- No self damage inflicted by Rocket/Sticky/Flare jumps:
Type in the console "via_nodmg" to open up the settings menu for this command, or select it from the supporter menu (accessible by typing !supporter in the chat).
Note: once you enable/disable it, it is permanently stored as enabled/disabled until you change it again.

Alternatively you can type in the console "via_nodmg enable" to enable it, "via_nodmg disable" to disable it and "via_nodmg status" to see if it's either enabled or disabled.

- Less Fall Damage taken as Demoman (only with Bootlegger/Ali Baba's Wee Booties equipped):
Non-Legendary Donors (donors that have donated less than 100 pounds overall) will take -50% Fall Damage as Demoman, while Legendary will take -90% Fall Damage as Demoman.
- Golden Wrench:
Your stock wrench will be replaced by a Golden one!

- Ability to use CakeVich:
You can choose to change the sandviches you drop into medium or large cakes!

CS:S Features
1. Supporter Skin: This is a skin which looks similar to the regular skins (so as to not effect gameplay) but does have some 'added-extras'. Once donated, the skin will automatically be applied to your player model when you join the server. However, prior to joining the server, you must type "cl_downloadfilter all" (without quotations) in to the console, otherwise the skin may not download & show for you.
2. Extended Stats Lots of extended stats become available to you including your fastest ever kill, your longest range kill, average distance and speed of kills, extended knife stats, skin stats and much more. Type "!statsme" (without quotations) while ingame to bring up the menu.
3. |VIA-S| Tag The tag |VIA-S| (which stands for VIA Supporter) will be added before your player name (in green coloured text) within the text chat to show you're a supporter.
4. Auto Team Balance Immunity You will be immune from the auto-balancer when one team is bigger than the other (not ETB).
5. Personalised Welcome Message.
6. All donors have their names added to our 'Donations Hall of Fame' where you are forever immortalised. Who's awesome? You're awesome!
7. Typing "!supporter" (without quotations) in-game will display your supporter level and rank.

If the donations you make total £50 or more overall (ie. donating £20 one month, £20 another & £10 the next), as well as all of the above benefits you also get the following benefits:
9. Life Time Supporter. You will have supporter benefits forever.
10. Immunity from auto-join (Coming Soon). You will be free to select which team you'd like to join when you enter the server.
If the donations you make total £100 or more overall, as well as all of the above benefits (1. - 10.), you will also get the following benefits:
11. Server message announcing An Immortal Friend of The Server: 'Your Player Name' has joined the game.
12. Our enormous gratitude.
If you donate for example £10 5 times, it will count the same as a single £50 donation, and you will recieve all the benefits of a single £50 donation. Your donations are recorded forever and new donations are added on top of your previous donations, even if the supporter status has expired.
By donating, you are not buying any of the above privileges. They are our way of showing our appreciation for your contribution to the server's running costs. We reserve the right to remove any such privileges should you be caught hacking, TK'ing, abusing others, etc. Without refund.
How Do You Become A Supporter?
Simply fill out the 2 boxes below with your name (the name you wish the donation to appear from) and STEAM_ID (type "status" without quotations into the console while connected to a server and find your name in the player list, your Steam ID will appear on the same line as your name) and click the continue button.
You do not have to have or create a Paypal account to donate. Donations can be paid through paypal using any major credit card without having to create an account.
Whatever you can afford is really very much appreciated. It all helps and 100% of donations go into the server.
